Jesus Guerrero, a renowned celebrity hairstylist known for working with stars like Kylie Jenner, Katy Perry, and Jennifer Lopez, has passed away. His sister, Gris Guerrero, confirmed the news on Saturday, February 22.
“It is with a heavy heart that we let the world know that Jesus Guerrero has gone to heaven,” Gris wrote on a GoFundMe page set up to support his family. “He is a son, a brother, an uncle, an artist, a friend, and so much more.”
A Rising Star in the Beauty Industry
Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Guerrero came from an immigrant family and built his career through hard work and dedication.
His hairstyling talents earned him a spot among Hollywood’s top stylists, where he worked with A-list clients and helped set beauty trends in the industry.
His cause of death has not been disclosed.
Gris shared that the family is now working on bringing Guerrero’s body back home to Texas from Los Angeles. “Currently, his family is taking care of his personal belongings and accommodations to bring him home to Houston,” she wrote, asking for donations to assist with the process.
At the time of publishing, the GoFundMe had raised over $35,000 of its $60,000 goal.

In 2020, Kylie Jenner jokingly called out Guerrero after he cut her hair shorter than expected. “@jesushair said he was giving me a trim and cut off all my hair,” she captioned a video showing off the fresh cut.
